These steps demonstrate how to connect to the WiFi network at ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï using an iOS device.
Background
eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. It is the primary Wi-Fi network for the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï community. Devices registered on ºÚÁϳԹÏ’s eduroam network will automatically connect to the eduroam network at other institutions worldwide. Requirements
eduroam credentials - in ºÚÁϳԹÏ’s case, an active network account (the same account used to access the portal)
An iOs device such as an iPhone or iPad
Procedure
Step 1
Open the Settings app on your iOS device, and tap WiFi.
Step 2
Select eduroam from the available networks.
Step 3
Enter your ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï email address (including @colgate.edu) and network password. This should be the same password that you use to log into the Portal. Then tap Join.
Step 4
Tap Trust to trust the certificate. You should now be connected to the ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï WiFi network.
