April 4–6 marked the campus debut of hybrid media artist Paul Catanese’s avant-garde opera Century of Progress / Sleep. The Ho Tung Visualization Laboratory was transformed for the production.

In the panel discussion “Leading in the Arts,” a group of professionals representing a variety of fields discussed the meaning of leadership in the arts, how they consider their audience and the larger public, and their responsibilities as far as representation. Lynn Schwarzer, professor of art and art history and film and media studies, moderated.

When producers with deep ���ϳԹ� ties decided to film a feature-length hockey movie in central New York, they turned to ���ϳԹ� for more than 20 interns to assist with the major undertaking.
